Anti-inflammatory drugs (novel 6BIGOE derivatives, AKBA, kadsurenin F, dexamethason) will be evaluated for interfering with cytokine and eicosanoid storms in infectious inflammation such as sepsis and Covid-19. They will be encapsulated under the application of new sustainable techniques in polymers with different stealth moieties and specific targeting strategies for the treatment of M1/M2 macrophages and SARS-CoV-2-infected epithelial cells. Using microfluidic biochips, a shell-less hen´s egg and a murine peritonitis model, the influence of environmental factors will be evaluated.
